The Hasler & Neopost Relationship
Many of our customers have asked MMS to clarify the relationship between Neopost Inc, headquartered in Hayward CA, and Hasler Inc, headquartered in Shelton CT.
An excerpt from a letter by Patrick Nangle, Chief Operating Officer North America & Japan, with the Neopost Group is below:

"Both businesses are ultimately owned by Neopost SA, the number one manufacturer of mailing equipment in Europe and number two worldwide. Collectively we call Neopost SA and all its subsidiary companies the Neopost Group. Neopost Inc and Hasler Inc are in fact sister companies within the Neopost Group. Both are active in the USA, each with its own distribution network and offering its own brand of products and services. They share an owner and also a source of products. Mailing machines and folder/inserters are designed and manufactured for the whole of the worldwide Neopost Group distribution network by another set of Group companies, known collectively as Neopost Technology. A very simplistic view of the organizational structure (not a legal structure) can be seen below."

How does this translate to the local Florida marketplace?

In the other Florida markets that MMS serves, we offer Hasler products exclusively. Hasler exclusive counties include:
Alachua, Baker, Bay, Bradford, Brevard, Calhoun, Clay, Columbia, Dixie, Duval, Flagler, Franklin, Gadsden, Gilchrist, Gulf, Hamilton, Holmes, Indian River, Jackson, Jefferson, Lafayette, Lake, Leon, Levy, Liberty, Madison, Monroe, Nassau, Okeechobee, Orange, Osceola, Seminole, St. Johns, St. Lucie, Suwannee, Taylor, Union, Volusia, Wakulla, Walton, Washington
It is also imporant to clarify that Modular Mailing Systems is an independent distributor. In fact, MMS is the largest independent distributor of postage meters and related mailroom technology in the world. MMS is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hasler, Inc. and is not owned by Neopost Inc. or any of Neopost Inc.'s other independent dealers in central or north Florida.
